This song was written on the side of the freeway in Phoenix, Arizona around 1998. While driving down the freeway, I had an idea and pulled over to the side to write it down. The ideas kept coming and I finished this song in about 15 minutes. I had no idea how to use it, so I stuck it away in my file folder along with numerous other bits and pieces of songs.

After coming to Thailand in 1999, I began to do some recording in my spare time at a local Thai studio.  I finished recording in 2001 and this was the lead off song. Unfortunately, we mistakenly used the wrong take for the final mastering. In addition, my rap skills were greatly lacking and it was just so-so.

I began playing around with this song, again, a couple weeks ago and over several days and a lot of frustration, I got just about what I wanted. Bobby Gale was perfect for the rap part while we backed him up on the other vocals.

I really hope you enjoy this rendition of a late 1990’s hybrid rap song.
