True Story: Across from our home here in Chiangmai is a large piece of property where local men raise cows and horses.  Everyday you can see 3-4 cows grazing in the grass.  One day as I was leaving I happened to look down the road and around the corner one of the local cow wranglers came on his motorcycle. In his hand was a halter with a huge black bull!! I was stunned, never seeing anything like this! This bull was trotting down the road beside the motorcycle, head held high and legs a churning! As he passed me, I started laughing!  The local just smiled and kept on going down the road.

I wrote this song from that experience!

Here are the words:

Joggin’ My Bull

(Verse 1)
My house is in the country
Just outside Doi Saket
It’s as close to heaven
Here on earth as you can get
Sometimes strange things are seen
Not understandable in full
One day around the corner came
A local . . . joggin’ his bull

Say What?
Yes! True story!

(Chorus)
Joggin’ his bull
Smilin’ down the lane
His bovine bulk of bull
Was feelin’ no pain
Gotta get those legs a swingin’
And the heart rate thru the roof
It was the coolest sight to see
Prime Rib on the hoof

(Verse 2)
The local’s on his motorcycle
His bull prancing beside
Head held high in the air
His smile showin’ his pride
His bull just keeps on joggin’
stride’n steady in his groove
No fear of passing motorcars
MAN! That bull could move!

(Chorus)
Joggin’ his bull
Smilin’ down the lane
His bovine bulk of bull
Was feelin’ no pain
He got those legs a swingin’
Heart rate’s climbin’ higher
I’m thinkin’ this bull’d look better
Roasting over my Bar-Be-que fire

(Verse 3)
Now I don’t want to indulge
Life’s too short to complain
But thinking outside the box
Takes too much mental strain
But sometimes life’s greatest feat
Takes doing something new
Like takin’ your pet bull out joggin’
Through Thailand’s neighborhood

Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh yeah

(Chorus)
Joggin’ my bull
I’m smilin’ as I age
My life’s one adventure book
Livin’ it page by page
I’ve got my life a swingin’
And my hopes are movin’ higher
THIS bull’s lookin’ better
With a nametag. . .
I’m retired!

Oh yeah, oh yeah
Yeah Baby! That’s me!!
