Number 6:
What is the quickest way to make money on the internet?
Many people enter the online marketing world due to financial stresses and a need to make money quick.
One of the first questions I hear and read in emails is, “How soon can I get paid for this?” Or, “How much can I make in the next month?”
Good questions, but totally miss the point of what we have been talking about in previous comments.
A better question would be, “What do I need to do to be successful at internet entrepreneurialism and what are the rewards of my efforts?”
Honestly, if you need to make money in the next 14-30 days, you may be better off starting a part-time job!
Lightning does strike people from time to time, but very few are fortunate to see quick, instant success and high financial reward in the online space! Most work hard, learning and educating themselves, engaging the strategies they learn, and then simply doing it over and over again until they realize the success they want or desire.
A successful Internet Marketer and one of my great online mentors, George McBride, says he does NOT like this question!
Two specific reasons why:
“First, the emphasis on being quick. Many “newbies” put speed over quality and value, only to end up further behind than when they started!!
In other words, they lost money! They invested with no follow through.
Second, this question implies trying to avoid the work it realistically takes to make money online.
Building a successful online business takes a lot of effort and strategy. From research to execution and everything in between—it takes blood, sweat, and tears.
People asking this kind of question are in search of a “magic button.”
There’s no magic button!!
People searching for this button prove it doesn’t exist. Why? Because they have not found it after all these years.
Successful people prove hard and consistent work gets the job done.
Why? Because very few people are willing to work.
When this question is asked and I answer, “it takes real work,” their body language clearly reflects disappointment. They were expecting an “all-in-one” solution. If a magic formula for success exists, a lot more people would be successful.
Here’s a much better question to be asking yourself:
“With the resources I have available to me now, what can I possibly offer to others in exchange for money?”
Let me restate what Jim Rohn said:
“We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace. It takes time, but we get paid for the value, not the time.”
The next few essential elements introduce you to the three methods of making money I previously mentioned.
